Thank you for visiting our Glass Memorial blog page.
The concept of Glass Memorial was conceived in 2016, in which glass artist Setsuko Ogishi wanted to provide a way for people to combine the beauty of glass and the memories of loved ones into an art piece that could be displayed inside the house as an alternative to other traditional methods such as an urn. After experimenting with donated ashes, Setsuko carefully designed pieces that would work together with the ashes. Using colours that would compliment the ashes that are suspended within the glass, the pieces are each crafted individually and made to order.
This blog serves as a place to receive updates and news regarding the Ashes into Glass - Glass Memorial. If you would like to receive updates on the Glass Memorials, please check this blog periodically.
